How to recycle polystyrene
WE TAKE YOUR CLEAN POLYSTYRENE PACKAGING WASTE AND RECYCLE IT.
We want you to think differently about expanded polystyrene (EPS). Why? Because it is 100% recyclable - and repeatedly so! It can be re-purposed and used in everyday, essential items like car seats, bike helmets, food and medical transport, and of course, as sustainable building insulation for Australian homes. At Foamex, we place recycled polystyrene back into building products essential to building thermally efficient and Passive homes.
So please, divert it from landfill and give it to us.

You might not know this, but.....
For many years, Foamex have been following a stringent recycling process within our own factories, where all offcuts are put back into the manufacturing process. This also occurs at building sites, where we pick up scraps and left over products for re-processing. Furthermore, it’s worth mentioning that all the energy we use in Victorian and South Australian factories comes from renewable energy sources like windfarms, solar and more. We have also installed solar panels on the first of our factories (with other factories to follow), to continue to reduce our emissions.
